The F-150 is offered in three body styles: Regular Cab, SuperCab, and SuperCrew. The regular cab also has the option of a 6.5-foot or 8-foot cargo bed. The SuperCab also adds the option of a slightly smaller 5.5-foot cab. The SuperCrew is offered with either the 5.5-foot or 6.5-foot bed.

The base engine is a 3.7-liter V6 with 302 hp and 278 pound-feet of torque. Next, is a 5.0-liter V8 producing 360 hp and 380 lb-ft. And then there's the top dog, the 6.2-liter V8 producing 411 hp and 434 lb-ft. Also there is a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that produces 365 hp and 420 lb-ft. All engines are six-speed automatic transmissions. Buyers have a choice of either two- or four-wheel drive on all versions of the F-150 with the exception of the Raptor, which only comes with four-wheel drive as standard equipment.
The 5.0-liter V8 engine comes standard on the long-bed versions of SuperCrew XL and XLTs, the FX2/FX4, XLT 4WD, the Lariats, the King Ranch, and the Platinum. The 6.2-liter V8 engine comes standard in the Raptor, Lariat Limited, and Harley-Davidson.
